Nistin Jose ("we", "us", or "our") built the Nistin Lyrics app as a free application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when you use our app.

When you use Nistin Lyrics, we may collect the following information:
- Account Information: If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile identifier to personalize your experience.
- User-Generated Content: Song lyrics you submit through the app, including song title, artist name, and lyrics text.
- Usage Data: Anonymized analytics about how you use the app (pages visited, features used) via Firebase Analytics.
- Crash Reports: Automatic crash data via Firebase Crashlytics to help us identify and fix bugs.
- Bug Reports: If you voluntarily submit a bug report, we collect your description, device information (user agent), and account identifier.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide and maintain the app's core functionality (browse, search, and read song lyrics)
- Enable user contributions (submit lyrics for review)
- Improve app performance and fix issues
- Personalize your experience (saved preferences, pinned songs)
- Communicate about your submissions (approval status, feedback)
We do NOT:
- Sell your personal data to third parties
- Use your data for targeted advertising
- Collect advertising identifiers (Ad ID collection is explicitly disabled)
- Track your location
- Access your contacts, camera, microphone, or files
3. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using:
- Firebase (Google Cloud): Account data and song submissions are stored in Firebase Realtime Database with security rules that restrict access.
- Local Device Storage: Your preferences, pinned songs, and cached song database are stored locally on your device using the app's internal storage.
- Encryption: All network communication uses HTTPS/TLS encryption. Lyrics content is encrypted at rest.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services that may collect information:
- Google Sign-In: For authentication. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
- Firebase Analytics: For anonymized usage statistics. Subject to Firebase Privacy Policy.
- Firebase Crashlytics: For crash reporting. No personally identifiable information is included in crash reports.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging: For push notifications. You can disable notifications in your device settings.
5. Data Retention
- Account Data: Retained as long as you have an active account. You can request deletion at any time.
- Song Submissions: Retained indefinitely as part of the lyrics database, even if your account is deleted. You may request removal of your submissions.
- Analytics Data: Automatically retained for up to 14 months by Firebase, then deleted.
- Local Data: Cleared when you uninstall the app or clear app data from device settings.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate personal data
- Delete your personal data and account
- Export your data (via the app's backup feature)
- Opt out of analytics data collection (contact us)
7. Children's Privacy
Nistin Lyrics does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information, please contact us.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted within the app and on this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
